In Queen Elizabeth NP, proceed for a unique 2-hr boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. The trip passes through possibly the highest hippo concentration in Africa and many mammals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. The birdlife is colorful and abundant. Game drives in this park, with massive Rwenzori as a backdrop provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, defassa water buck, Uganda Kob, Topi, and bush buck. On the last day, an early morning walk in the spectular Kyambura gorge provides excellent opportunities to see chimpanzees, black and white Colobus monkey, red tailed monkey and number of savannah and forest birds. Kyambura gorge is commonly referred as the valley of apes by CNN.

day 2

Coffee and biscuits: Morning game drive-04hrs: Breakfast: Lunch: Afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel: Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Mweya hostel.

day 3

Transfer to Kyambura gorge: Briefing by head ranger: Begin chimp tracking escorted by rangers: Proceed to Kampala: Lunch en route: Drop off at your residence.
