Meet and assist upon at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your reserved hotel in Kampala for dinner and overnight
Early morning transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Rest for a short while and later take a scenic afternoon boat-ride for an opportunity to see crocodiles, Hippos and abundant bird-life like African foot fin, Crested Francolin, Red-necked Spurfowl, Arrow-marked Babler, Emerald-spotted Wood-dove, Brown Parrot, Barefaced Go-away. Have dinner and overnight stay at Mantana Tented Camp or Mihingo lodge.
Today, follow your guide for an exciting walking safari, a game-drive and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead.
After briefing by the informative ranger, follow your guide for gorilla and begin the trekking activity. An exciting activity, trekking sometimes takes a full day depending on the free movement of the gorilla families. Maximum time allowed with the gorillas is only 1 hour. Return to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, the exodus leads to Ishasha, which is the home to the famous Tree Climbing Lions in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy an evening game-drive, refreshment and overnight at Ishasha Tented Camp.
Rhythms of nature as the birds sing; wake up to a morning game-drive for an opportunity to see night commuters as they shy away from emerging daylight. The ride finally leads to Mweya area for afternoon boat ride on Kazinga Channel; a stretch of waters that links L.Edward to L.George. The ride is believed to traverse, the highest concentration of Hippos under planet earth. As well, crocodiles and quite a number of bird species can be seen during the boat launch. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Twinlakes safari lodge.
Wake-up early to morning game-drive and wander the misty plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park seeing a diversity of wildlife. Return to lodge for breakfast, relaxation and then lunch. Set out for another session of adventure as you drive to the potential animal habitants in the afternoon. Retire to Mweya Safari Lodge for your dinner and overnight.
Early morning breakfast, after which you check out of the lodge and starting your adventure with a visit to kyambura Gorge for Chimp tracking. The trees and shrubs by the gorge are home to Chimpanzees and the walk gives you an opportunity to see them as well as the gorge that has a roaring river flowing deep down. Proceed to Kibale and check-in the lodge for dinner and overnight Ndali lodge or Kibale forest cottages.
This morning, after briefing by the guide, get hold of your walking sticks, cameras and all you need for the chimp tracking activity and enter the for an amazing activity of the apes that share 98% of human genes. After an exciting adventure with the chimps, take an afternoon walk in Bigodi swamp for an occasion to see animal and bird life that call the swamp home. Return to Ndali lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Depart Kibale and embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park. The ride takes us through forests, shrubs, grasslands, trading centres and villages hence giving you an opportunity to see more of the wilderness and the rural life style. Dinner and overnight is reserved for you in either Nile Safari Camp on the southern bank or Paraa Safari Lodge on the northern bank of River Nile.
Dawn breaks and its ideal to watch the tropical sun rise as you watch the game in the morning. This time of the day, it’s an amazing experience to see nocturnal game as the night actives retire and shy away from day-light especially the carnivores. It’s not yet over for today until you take a picturesque boat ride on the Nile River. The 3 hour ride takes you through a high concentration of Hippos and toothy crocodiles as well as many animal species that come to the river banks to quench thirst. Avid birdwatchers, here is an opportunity to see more birds especially the rare Shoe Bill stork. The ride takes you to the bottom of the falls and marvel at nature as the waters of the Nile funnel through a 7 meter gorge form a height of about 44 meters. Return to the lodge after an exciting adventure.
You saw the bottom of the falls during your boat ride the previous day, it’s time to know the other side of the coin by visiting the top of the falls. Seeing the falls from the top is an adventure in its own class and the opportunity to be guided down to see more of it. Proceed to Kampala, with lunch en-route and arrive late afternoon. Drop –off at your hotel or airport for your evening flight.
