The best to visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can be done all year around for gorilla trekking. However drier months from June to August and December to February are recommended. There is less rain during this time making gorilla trekking easier. March to April and September to November are usually very wet months thus making Gorilla trekking challenging &difficult.

How to get to Bwindi Forest National Park
By road Bwindi Forest National Park is 520 Kilometers from Kampala of about 8 to 9hours’ drive time of scenic drive.
By flight, it only takes 2hrs from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro airstrip –South of Bwindi or to Kihihi Airstrip –North of Bwindi Forest National Park. The flight is ideal and saves time.
