CEO and Founder
Jotham Tumwebaze, is the CEO and founder of Jothado Safaris Uganda Limited. Born and raised in Western Uganda in family of twelve siblings and being the fourth born. I have grown around African home kind of setting with our cousins in the same space. My cousin Sam Bamwesigye who has been in the tourism sector for many years inspired me so much to join this field.
Around 2014, because on the passion I had in tourism and adventure, I made a decision to venture into this field. I started by acquiring tourist vehicles for hire. November 2019, I full registered a tours and travel company which is operational to-date.
Our team at Jothado Safaris is committed to providing exciting and memorable life time experience to customers in the “richly gifted by nature” country – Uganda and beyond. I invite you to what Prime Minister Winston Churchill referred to as “The Pearl of Africa” and you will be mesmerized at the incredible beauty of Uganda and Africa as continent.
Kiconco Justine

Director, Operations and Administration
Justine is one of the founding members of Jothado Safaris. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism Operations and Management from Nkumba University. She was very instrumental in making this company stand as she played a fundamental role in its initial establishment processes. Having been in this industry since 2014, her enormous experience, exceptional leadership, organization and leadership skills makes her one of the most outstanding and qualified personalities.
Gyaviira Tumushabe
(Bsc. Tourism Operations and Management; Hons)
Director Sales and Marketing
From February 2020, Gyaviira has been heading our sales and marketing operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism management from Makerere University. Having been actively serving in the tourism industry in different capacities since 2016, he has gained vast knowledge and experience not only in managing sales but also customer care and many other aspects of the tourism and hospitality industry which has made him a treasured asset to this Company.

Tourism to me is not just a career but a passion. I love to travel and my dream is to travel around the world. There is so much beauty God has put in the world not be explored. And I found it very interesting working at Jothado safaris with a team that is so passionate about tourism industry.
