Day 1: ARRIVAL ENTEBBE /Start your 6 Days Primate Safari Tour

Day 2: ENTEBBE – KIBALE NATIONAL PARK (Travel time +5hrs): Start off 6 Days Primate Safari
After an early breakfast you will proceed to Kibale National Park. A half day’s drive with brief stopovers en-route passing by tea plantations. In the afternoon you will visit the crater lakes were formed rather recently, a mere 8,000-10,000 years ago. Though they are serene, scenic lakes today, they were caused by violent volcanic activity, exploding ash and rock far and wide. It is interesting to note that fire and brimstone still erupted from these explosions as recently as 2,000 BC while the Pyramids in Egypt were being built. Today however, these volcanoes lie dormant, leaving great places for swimming, viewpoints and nature trails, that one can hike surrounded by monkeys, tropical birds, and magnificent sights.Meal plan (FB: – Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 3: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK (CHIMPANZEE TREK) & BIGODI WALK.
Have an early morning breakfast, drive to UWA park headquarters for the Chimpanzee briefing by the forest guide. You will locate the Chimps by listening for their pant-hooting calls, then hustle to the area from which they are calling. You will also see the Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Black faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons and an incredible array of bird life, including the Great Blue Turaco. Return to the lodge for lunch.
Make an evening walk to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary filled with birds and colorful butterflies. This is a less challenging walk keeping you amidst nature. Meal plan (FB: – Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 4: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK – DRIVE TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK (05h00 drive)
After breakfast at 0800 proceed to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot many wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Optional: Entrance in to Ishasha for a game drive to search and sight the tree climbing lions. Meal plan (FB: – Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 5: BWINDI FOREST (GORILLA TREKKING) – unpredictable time
After an early breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. You will then set off for the mountains gorilla trekking inside the Bwindi forest. You will need to carry drinking water, rain jacket and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. After tracking, come back to the lodge for late lunch. The afternoon will be at leisure to rest or dedicated for sightseeing around the camp. Meal plan (FB: – Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 6: BWINDI – ENTEBBE DEPART (Flight time 2hrs)
Breakfast at the lodge and check out. Transfer to the airstrip in Kihihi for your scheduled flight to Entebbe in order to catch your outbound flight. Morning and afternoon flights are available out of Kihihi Airstrip. End of service.
