Day 1: ARRIVAL – KIGALI / Start off 6 Days Volcanoes and Nyungwe Tour
Arrival of your flight at Kigali International Airport. You will be warmly welcomed by Jothado Safari guide representative, you will then be transferred to your hotel in Kigali. Check in assistance, followed by dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan Dinner & Breakfast.

Day 2: KIGALI CITY TOUR –VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (Travel time +2.5hrs) : 6 Days Volcanoes and Nyungwe Tour
After the breakfast, proceed on your 6 Days Volcanoes and Nyungwe Tour, embark on a Kigali city tour include the Kigali (Gisozi) Genocide Memorial. The Kigali Memorial exists is a permanent memorial to those who fell victim to the genocide in 1994. It deals with a topic of international importance, with far-reaching significance, and is designed to engage and challenge an international visitor base. Here you will be able to visit the three permanent exhibitions, the largest of which documents the genocide and pay tribute to the victims of the genocide.
You will later be transferred to Musanze & Volcanoes National Park. Arrival and check in at your lodge. You will have lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Meal plan (FB: – Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 3: VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (Gorilla trek & Village Cultural tour)
Early breakfast at the lodge then proceed to the park headquarters in time for your Gorilla Trek briefing at 07h00. Your guided walk begins at 08h00. A gorilla family is led by a silverback. These troops also include several younger males, adult and juvenile females, and infants. After this memorable experience, you will proceed to the lodge for lunch and also to clean your trekking boots.
This afternoon at 15h30 – You will have an optional visit the Iby’ Iwacu village for a cultural experience to share various aspects of rural cultures and livelihoods into tourist attractions and creating income-generating activities for rural poor people that have reformed from living on bush meat and poaching for generations. Day 4: VOLCANOES (Golden Monkey trek) – NYUNGWE FOREST (Travel time 5hrs)
Rise early in the morning and breakfast at the lodge. Check out and proceed to the Park’s headquarters for briefing about your trek. You will then be transferred by vehicle to the start point of the guided walk that begins at 08h00 in search of the Golden Monkeys. Trekking to see the golden monkeys is another highlight of Volcanoes National Park. There are two habituated groups of Golden Monkey, one group comprises around 80 – 100 members and has its home at the foot of Mt Sabyinyo. As with treks to see the Mountain Gorillas, treks to see the Golden Monkeys take place in the mornings and visitors are permitted to stay for 1 hour with the monkeys. The number of visitors is not limited.
After the experience, transfer Nyungwe Forest National Park arriving in the evening at from 17h00. Meal plan (FB: – Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)

Day 5: CHIMPANZEE TREK & CANOPY WALK
Today at 05h00 you will get your packed breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trek briefing and formalities and then to the evergreen forest for a great experience that starts at 06h00. You may spot a wide variety of bird life. Their playfulness and human – like characteristics make the long day worthwhile. Luckily you may be welcomed by chimp morning calls deep in the forest upon encountering the chimps, you will be allowed to stay in their presence for one hour as you enjoy their acrobats, feeding life and their day today behaviors. Return to the hotel at around 11h00. Lunch will follow.
14h45: Transfer to the park headquarters for canopy walk briefing that takes place at 15h00. Your guided canopy walk will start at 15h00.
Experience the rainforest from a dazzling new perspective – on the famous Canopy Walkway. The only walk of its kind in East Africa, this breathtaking construction hangs 60 metres above the forest floor between giant trees and towers, revealing a stunning view of the flora and fauna, both below and above. Day 6: NYUNGWE FOREST – KIGALI OUT (Travel time 5hrs)
Early breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and settle extras. Proceed to KIGALI passing through Huye and lunch stopover, En route, we will briefly visit the Ethnographic Museum. (This stop is after a 03 hour drive from Kigali (Huye) Later continue to Kigali International Airport in time to catch your out bound flight.
